~~~*~~~ Day 21 - problems with uploading...
I have had some problems lately...with uploading pictures... so I haven't gotten around to update my blog. Hopefully it will all be better now. While you wait for the big update... watch the trailer for "The Tale of Despereaux"... We are going to see it on the big screen next week... are you?
~~~*~~~ Day 13 - St.Lucia...
Where did the bag of yarn go? I bought some skiens the other day...and intended to start a knitted scarf today..but the bag is gone..and no scarf has been started on. Ah well..have to hit the stores tomorrow then...to buy some more. I'm not sad ;P On the thirtenth day of Christmas... I got a candy cane... the boys are druling over it..but it is all mine...moahahahaaaa...
~~~*~~~ Day 12 - half way there already...!
There should be some more knitting contents to show here on my blog now. I have actually knitted alot these past days...only problem is; they are all Christmas knits... On the twelvth day of Christmas... I got a tube of Smarties...do I need to say it is already empty? *blush*
~~~*~~~ Day 11 - it is snowing!
Ho - ho - ho ...
Just had too... On the eleventh day of Christmas... I got this hand knitted cloth... Can I really get myself to actually use it?
~~~*~~~ Baggy - MadeByManne I have been knitting some these last days ... had to do something to keep my head calm in the midst of all the preparations for the exam...so I knitted this:
One of my sisters was kind enough to be my model... I wrote down the *howto*, but in Norwegian only. Let me know if you want me to translate it as well...and yes, the yarn is the yarn I got fourth of December.
~~~*~~~ Day 10 - busy as an elf in Santas workshop!
Lovely, lovely Christmas time. I haven't had much time to sit today, but I have loved every minute of it. Two kinds of Christmas cookies fresh from the oven, lots of *medisterkaker* beeing made (and eaten)...and my livingroom and hallway are almost done beeing decorated. On the tenth day of Christmas... I got a cup with the words "Merry Christmas" and a heart painted on the inside. It has been stolen by my youngest son...have to steal it back once he sleeps...hehehe
~~~*~~~ Day 9 - D-day!
Yay! Finished! Don't know the result until mid-January...so I won't even think about the exam result before next year. Happy times now...Christmas - here I come! On the ninth day of Christmas... I got two stitch markers...two owls. And yes..I know there is only one owl in the picture.. but that is because the other one already hangs on a project of course. *big grin*
~~~*~~~ Day 8 - almost there!
One more day...and I'm done. On the eight day of Christmas... I got this super cool heart...dark blue with threads inside..didn't show to well in the picture though.
~~~*~~~ Day 7 - still reading!
I know my blog isn't over-exiting these days... it will be better. On the seventh day of Christmas... I got two cute refrigerator magnets pixies.
~~~*~~~ Day 6!
AFK - or at least I should be... On the sixth day of Christmas... I got a small, chubby Christmas figurine... He will feel right at home when all my other christmas stuff comes out of the boxes...
~~~*~~~ Day 5 - let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
If you had been a flie on my living room wall these days you'd get a good laugh. Thing is - I WANT SNOW! So I dance... You have heard about rain dance, haven't you? So I guess there must be a magic snow dance as well... I just haven't found it yet... well sort of I have - at least it is snowing...just not enough - so I'll keep on dancing. On the fifth day of Christmas... I got a cookie cutter... and that comes in handy because the boys and I have plans to bake today.
~~~*~~~ Day 4!
Another day...and yet a little closer to they day all the kids (and I) are waiting for. On the fourth day of Christmas... I got two skeins of sock yarn...I already have a plan for it!
~~~*~~~ Day 3!
Yay...more snow came... but then it stopped again...and now I'm afraid it will all melt. Please send me some chill winds and some snowey clouds!
On the third day of Christmas... I got this cute little santa for my tree...
~~~*~~~ Day 2!
The snow is gone... but it can still come back before 24th, right? It should be snow this year... because I belive in a three year syclus...and this is the year for snow according to that...*giggles* You got to have faith, you know :P ... On the second day of Christmas... I got tea...and it smells sooooo Christmassy. Can't wait for my break... (yeah, I'm supposed to be reading for my exam... NOT writing in my blog..*oups*)
~~~*~~~ Counting down the days!
This year I have a Christmas gift calender... with gifts from Lisa, LisaMarie and Kristin... we bought eachother 8 gifts each...so each got the total of 24 gifts... (you get the idea, right?)...so every day until Christmas I have a little present to open... and show you! On the first day of Christmas... *singing*... I got these lovely crochet snow flakes.. Can't wait to decorate the tree with them!
~~~*~~~ Bit by the bug!
I'm hooked...Have made some stuff I can't show yet..but this little bug I can show. Outside the snow is falling...inside the Christmas music fills the rooms. Only 24 days until Christmas. Yay!
~~~*~~~ Ho-ho-ho...give me some snow!
And there it is...the first of December!
